APCON Names New Manufacturing Manager
Wilsonville, Ore., August 18, 2009 - APCON, Inc., a leading manufacturer of integrated switching solutions, today announced that Mark Dinwiddie has joined the company as Manufacturing Manager.
Dinwiddie, who reports to APCON founder and CEO, Richard Rauch, comes aboard to lead production as the company is experiencing strong demand for its network monitoring solutions. "Thousands of enterprises worldwide are thriving even in this down economy," said Rauch. "We are making strategic additions to our team - highly experienced professionals such as Mark - to ensure that we can support these businesses with products that are built to the highest standards of quality." Dinwiddie comes to APCON with more than 12 years experience in technology manufacturing, including leadership positions in production, operations and program management. Most recently he was director of manufacturing at Portland-based Pacific Star Communications, and prior to that, was operations manager at Oregon Aero Inc. Previously, he held production, program management and technical support positions with firms such as Suntron Corporation, SCI Systems, and Digital Equipment Corporation. A graduate of the University of Phoenix, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Dinwiddie also served in the U.S. Air Force.
