APCON Cites Positive Business Progress in 2009WILSONVILLE, Ore., January 21, 2010 - APCON, Inc. said today that new product introductions and enterprise customer orders are among the factors in its business success during 2009. According to company founder and CEO, Richard Rauch, the network solution provider’s revenue from worldwide sales is up by nearly 10 percent over the same period in 2008. “2009 was challenging, but many enterprise businesses were determined to invest so they could meet customer needs and grow. For many, the strategy was to make their networks more efficient and reliable using technology such as ours. They saw the results of doing so, and we realized steady growth as a result.” Rauch said APCON booked significant orders from leading firms during 2009; notably from firms in the telecommunications and financial services industries, and from a number of government agencies and institutions. He said also that during the year, the company saw an increase in international business. “Europe and Asia, in particular, were very active markets for us.” APCON brought two significant new products to market in 2009. In March it introduced TITAN EnterPoint™, an enterprise-level software solution for centralized control of network monitoring. May saw the introduction of IntellaFlex™, an innovative aggregation and filtering solution for enterprise networks. EnterPoint gives users a single interface through which they can create network monitoring sessions and assess the utilization of their testing devices. IntellaFlex provides in a single, high-capacity chassis, the ability to connect 10G network segments with arrays of 1G tool farms. “The market quickly recognized the benefits of these products,” Rauch said. “EnterPoint is the first product to truly simplify monitoring in complex enterprise network environments. And IntellaFlex preserves the investments that these customers have made in their 10G and 1G network infrastructures. To an enterprise, each product can deliver hundreds of thousands of dollars in bottom-line cost-savings.”
