New features, enhancements, and a new chassis highlight the IntellaView v1.08 release
APCON, a leading provider of intelligent network visibility and security solutions, announced a significant new firmware release for its IntellaView platform, Version 1.08. New time-saving and performance-enhancing capabilities help IntellaView deliver high-speed network monitoring of hybrid networks spanning cloud, virtualized, and on-premises infrastructures.
Richard Rauch, APCON President/CEO, said the new release expands customers’ ability to manage multiple switches in one browser.
Customers will love the added simplicity we’ve built into the IntellaView Advanced Multi-Switch Package. You can easily manage up to five different switches at once and schedule your regular tasks ahead of time. It’s a major time saver when you need to duplicate settings from one switch to another.

IntellaView received several functionality additions, including a Switch Configuration Wizard, expanded Alarm notifications, and a Remote Switch Diagnostics module. Along with these features, the IntellaView EdgeSwitch (APCON’s high-density aggregation, filtering, load balancing, and port tagging system) received more tunneling and tagging features.
A new product was also unveiled in this release: The compact, 1.5RU single-slot chassis designed to hold any APCON IntellaView blade or Bypass TAP while taking up minimal rack space.
IntellaView is just one of many products that make APCON a world leader in the Network Visibility market today and for the last 28 years. APCON engineers continue to develop innovative technologies that are shaping the future of network monitoring.
